Episode 31: Cambridge exams Set Texts

This is a short presentation about the set text for B2 First for Schools and the two novels for C2 Proficiency. I answer why they're used in the exams and what candidates are expected to do. Also, I will explain what the benefits are and the possible pitfalls if you decide to prepare for them. The set texts are: * B2 First for Schools (January 2021 - December 2022) Daphne du Maurier: Rebecca. Teachers may choose to prepare candidates for questions on this set text by studying any film version of Rebecca, as well as, or instead of, the book.   * C2 Proficiency (January 2022 - December 2023) Jane Austen: Northanger Abbey, and David Nicholls: Us.
