We all described the Pirates season in just one word. What one word would you use to describe the Pirates season? Pirates pre-post game host Dan Zangrilli joined the show. Dan used a few words to describe the Pirates season through 35 games. Dan originally predicted 84 wins before the season, so he went into some things that he thought would go better than what reality has spit out. The guys looked at the organizational depth and how there are still basically no big hitters in the pipeline. Did the Pirates ruin Jack Suwinski? Outside of Termarr Johnson and Konnor Griffin, who else is there in the minors to hold on to? Dan described their farm system as ‘pedestrian,’ which is damming, considering what the major league roster looks like.
